i wonder if there will ever be a video game where you can be an anarchist/join an anarchist faction, and they will use the real definition of anarchy and not just build off the scareword using authoritarianism to fill in the gaps where they want to make it especially horrifying.

only intended to sleep until noon to make up an extra 4 hours on top of the 4 hours i slept before getting up to eat something, but instead i slept until about 1530. rip

at least i'm well rested now

went to do something on my PSN account and got greeted by this

all 3 kidnapped dogs were fine and i was petting and being licked by one big bulldog while i waited for willow to stand up and hop out of the trunk on her own terms (and waiting for another owner to retrieve their dog first)

that was the entire dream.

had a dream earlier where i was letting willow (my dog) roam around an empty area of a city on her leash, and someone ran over, picked up her leash, pushed her into a car and drove off, all right in front of me.

i was running after the car on foot and somehow keeping up because apparently i wasn't the only victim, and another car was chasing and ramming the vehicle, preventing it from simply speeding away

the vehicle eventually crashed, killing the driver but not the pups in the trunk

@Siphonay the opposite happened to me the other day, i looked at the battery on my surface pro 2 from 2013 and thought "oh, 20%, that'll probably last me an entire day" because of my pixel 2 xl legit lasting that long, but the old and outdated tablet only had less than an hour of juice in reality.

@Fuego if you go into your account on a computer, you can choose what devices you want to remain activated and which ones you want to deactivate

go to any playstation site, log in, click on your user icon in the top right and go to account management, then tab over to devices. click on any device and you can name it or deactivate it.

that unfortunate need for shows/character arcs to end before all the good content and momentum is used up to preserve the show/character in a good, positive light, rather than making everyone tired and bored of it and using up everything good so they're left off remembering how everything went downhill instead of the good parts

i'd be tempted to give the more recent doctor who stuff another chance since at least it'd be something to do but eh, i have mixed feelings. and i'm not sure anything can top the earlier stuff in the new show with 9 and 10 and even sometimes 11

@Violet i liked tennant and i still think i'd enjoy seeing him in other shows but i wouldn't particularly want to see him as the doctor again. i like that they freshen it up with new characters every now and then, and honestly it's just the writing that's got me down these days.

this would very much require some sort of ideal society where these things are both heavily encrypted/secure and are not controlled by any specific companies looking to monetise health issues

and then it'd just scan my body and do some other quick tests and tell me that my sleep cycle is off balance or something like that, and what things i can try to do to correct it

can't wait for whenever science is at the point where i can pretty much have a computer monitor my health every day and make recommendations on how to work out even some of the most minor health problems in my life

though i guess that would also lead to a lot of problems where i feel like i'm not doing enough or my routine becomes too cumbersome trying to look after every little thing

i guess maybe something i could ask for advice as needed? "oh, i'm not sleeping well. tell me why computer"

@Sir_Boops it seems neat, but it's not my cup of tea from what little i've played/seen of it. some of the writing is pretty good but also, some of it is way too edgy at times :p

it's been so long since i've watched any doctor who. i used to be in love with that show but halfway through matt smith i got tired of the poor writing and fell away.

tbh i wish it would get good again so i could get back into it. but i doubt it...it's practically run its course.

well i wasn't very successful with sleep attempt #2 thanks to weird body temps and also being disturbed by partner's alarm so now i'm cooking food in hopes that my body will feel satisfied and let me do a second snooze
