i think i might be absolutely horrible at rocket league

anyway i got placed in silver 2 div 4 last night so i'm gonna need to win the next couple matches in ranked duel to get back where i was last season but that'll be a lot easier than what i had to face during placement

rocket league looks and sounds great with the new content. at least in the menu so far :p

i had to buy a sim card at walmart and then call customer support to get the "$30 walmart plan" activated, and voila

it's a good plan though. $30/mo for unlimited data (throttled after 5gb), unlimited global text, and 100min of calling

i'm probably gonna lose my tmobile plan eventually because the prepaid ones aren't international and they no longer seem to offer the $30 walmart plan

i could name a bunch of different games that did things First that folks in my mentions haven't even considered but the point is not "who came first" it's "intellectual property is bullshit and genres shouldn't be owned by anyone"

i remember way back when the first game ever brought a 100 player fps experience to the market like a decade ago (i forget the name but it flopped iirc) and now pubg is suing fortnite over ideas they both borrowed from someone else

as for the other game with voxel pokemon, it looks...eh. i'll probably give it a try but i'm not convinced it'll stick with me very long

i liked the controls for pokemon go but the rest of it didn't feel very good as a game? so this just ties it all together nicely

the new pokemon on switch looks great and i want it

it may not be like, and actual new release (kanto remake) but the addition of pokemon go controls makes it very exciting to me
