i watched Sorry To Bother You last night and it stirred up all my feelings about seattle and big cities in general a lot.

i'm all clean! i tried to do a rough shave of my arms too, though they'll definitely need another pass next time.

time for me to shower! i'm excited because i've finally got the shampoo/conditioner/body wash i like to use for the first time in a week

i honestly don't care if you're a "good landlord" or not, making any kind of profit that you personally benefit from by exploiting others over a basic need is scummy

owning property just to sell it back to people in the form of renting is scummy

yes, even if you're using that money to pay medical bills or donate to charity or something, you're still taking money from folks who probably have less than you, money they now can't spend on their other basic needs and wants

i love the mcelroys and their content but i could very much go without the whole "call everything a boy" meme

@LucasTheDrgn i have a hard time with roleplaying in general. i've got some hangup where it's hard for me to pretend to be someone else

i'd like to mitigate this in future by creating a character that feels Me enough to play comfortably, even if that's not quite as interesting as playing someone who isn't like me at all.

why are so many tabletop/roleplaying games so extremely cool and yet so hard for me to actually play
