i also already watched an episode of daredevil and played a few games of mtga

how am i still so bored

i've somehow completely forgotten what i usually like to do with my time

i have zero idea what to do today. already played some rocket league, tried playing conan exiles but i just couldn't really find a way to enjoy it, and splat doesn't have a good gametype until a little over an hour from now

idk, superhero shows fall apart real quickly once you realise none of the shit in them makes sense except if you hold the very specific tired opinions of the status quo and see what you want to believe

but i guess frank knew daredevil wasn't gonna kill him either. so what was the whole point except to prove that...frank castle likes to kill? i guess? it seemed extremely out of character and ultimately only served to reinforce whatever daredevil wants to think, though i'm not entirely familiar with the punisher so there could've been something else to it.

it was a choice between some weak scared dude who was scum of the earth, but completely harmless. and frank, who has already proven he isn't gonna kill other vigilantes, so he's probably got a generally decent idea of who needs to be put in the ground and who actually deserves a chance.

and even if matt did kill frank, and thought it was just, matt would've taken way too long to become a suitable replacement to carry out frank's work. so the risk is too great

anyway the whole rooftop situation was weird because like...frank was absolutely not gonna kill matt, idk why he had him tied up rather than just throwing him somewhere out of the way and forgetting about it.

if he was trying to change the ideology of daredevil to be more like his, forcing him to kill isn't really gonna do that, and neither of the targets were really desirable anyway?

i wouldn't trust the justice system to ever sentence someone to death but i sure as hell think superheroes have a responsibility for the lives that are taken if they don't end the lives of very obvious repeat offenders

matt had a chance to kill fisk. instead he decided to hand him over to the cops...who he knew were corrupt. so then fisk naturally escapes, additional people are hurt and killed, and event though fisk gets apprehended once again, i don't doubt he'll come back in a later show to continue to do harm.
