hacking shit is kinda neat and in an ideal society i guess there wouldn't be much reason to hack devices like game systems, because they'd likely give you full access from the start with no need for DRM.

though i imagine we'd still implement security protocols for other purposes that hackers could collectively have fun over trying to smash so we can figure out how to make better security in future. so maybe hacking wouldn't be entirely dead.

now is a good time to get a vita. ideally you'll want one on 3.65 or below. the exploit will still work on 3.67/3.68 but it isn't persistent. and you can spoof the latest version of firmware to get on the psn store, though i recommend using pkgj instead :)

plus i think i'd still be able to use my 16gb memory card?

vita memory cards are priced at $60 for a 32gb, $90 for a 64gb, but with a $2 sd2vita adapter i could go ahead and grab a 128gb microsd for $40 and have twice as much space for less than half the cost

the psp go has 16gb internal storage but also has the option to expand with a 16gb memory card

i don't have a memory card for the psp go, and my vita came with a 16gb card and a 4gb card

the vita i believe has a maximum option of 64gb memory cards, the 1000 has no internal storage but the 2000 and the pstv have 1gb internal storage. and i don't think you can swap out memory cards like with the psp unless you use a different account with each card?

halfway tempted to sell my psp go to afford a microsd card since i can just play psp games on my vita and with the option of a microsd card, store more than even the max capacity of the go

but i kinda just like having a psp go in general. there's something about it that feels right

i'm upset that i got a Road Hog XL import body in rocket league and not like, a good car. it is even certified :/
