@sc i miss when i had more confidence in being myself, wasn't constantly worried people were gonna think ill of me, was discovering and accepting new parts of myself and the world around me, and was unapologetically liking and enjoying things without feeling the need to see how my friends thought about the thing and feeling pressured to mimic their thoughts

i keep wanting to be creative because i feel creative but then i remember that i haven't eaten, haven't done much in the way of other self care, and there is a backlog of chores i could be doing instead that are just getting worse and worse and making it even harder for me to face them while feeling somewhat out of it and kinda reliving a strange teen phase i had where i only seem to be able to focus on strong emotions and kink

at some point we got a small above ground pool and i wasn't super into swimming in it but i did enjoy sitting on the small deck we had beside it, on my laptop, hiding so that i wasn't worried about my mother hearing the clacking of my shitty laptop's keyboard in the middle of the night when i was supposed to be sleeping

super duper into the aesthetic of tween me over the summer reading weird gross stories and webcomics on the net, talking to people on early twitter, watching doctor who from the beginning of the new series, trying to write bad stories, playing rock band/guitar hero at 8am after staying up all night

also the couple times i went out in the backyard at 4am and sat under the cheap canvas gazebo watching the stars

on a good day i make silly mistakes but on a day like this i can't even get the beat right on top of making the same mistakes repetitively in a short timeframe.

i feel extremely off balance today. tried to play crypt of the necrodancer like i have been doing practically every day for the last week or two, ended up losing two games within the first 30 seconds or so

i should get back into adventure time but i absolutely forgot where i left off. somewhere in the...5th season?
