sadly acmlmboard xd drops the rpg features of the original (which were silly and pointless but i liked the increasing numbers)

idk if we'll implement something like it in the future from scratch but even without it, it's already a very nice board

for those who just don't get them at all anymore: go to chrome://serviceworker-internals and unregister everything from your instance

idk i think just nobody at mastodon checks code before they push out a release anymore

maybe the fix is just finding the changes to notifications between 2.3.3 and 2.4.0 and reverting them

as we always do in computer fairies :blobrollingeyes:

also on top of the aforementioned issues, apostrophes show up as ' in notifications now

@Jo unregistering service workers made them appear for me but none of the functions in them work anymore
