Been working on my exporter for bleder, that exports to PBRT render engine, still working on improving the shader nodes. Currently adding support for all the preset material types in the subsurface shader.

The practice of traditional music and dance in Setesdal got on UNESCO's list of 'intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity'. I find that very cool. We live just 1 hour from Setesdalen, and spend a lot of time there. And here is my mother's cousin's son singing a traditional Norwegian song, 13 years old. He is amazing. He had a song in my great grandmother's funeral this summer. I will never forget the singing. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear him sing.

On Tuesday I get back to the daily grind at the office. Enjoying these last two days now. Been a really nice summer vacation this year, done so many nice things!

Our new kitten and our old dog is becoming friends. The kitten has been here two days now.

The cost of running it is only 350.- NOK a year - and some free time. It currently runs on donated hardware from @[Raymond Ingebretsen](/u/tassel) (Thank you again) so the hardware cost is zero, I self host so the only cost is the domain. If you feel like helping out then there is a bitcoin \ paypal link on the left side menu.
You can use this service for free for ever, so donations are not something I expect, but I do appreciate them. Last year got covered by donations from users. I also want to thank all of you who joined the server and hope to see many more users in the future.

The xmpp service had stopped working (got a email from a user today). The reason why it failed to start properly is that if prosody starts up before diaspora then it cannot authenticate the users, so I have to restart prosody after diaspora has started. I will make a script that restarts the service after diaspora, that will prevent the issue in the future. Sorry for the disruption. #podmin
