    A recent LEGO bin I purchased off of NextDoor has been a complete bust and it's getting to me:
    - 60% of the bin is LEGO knock-offs
    - Half of the rest is too damaged for my standards
    - I purchased several parts for my models I could have used from this bin.

    It wasn't too bad, except finding an available spot in the consulate calendar which was absolutely horrendous, but everything else was straightforward. Come here at this time, bring this and this, and voilà.

    I’m 37 and for the first time in my life I applied on my own for a government ID/passport renewal. Not sure what to do with this other than thank the people (mostly women) who reminded me or straight up did it for me until now.

    I've only heard about him indirectly through other members of the Rationalist movement, mainly Eliezer Yudkowsky. Bostrom isn't insane, but he is usually out of touch enough for me to safely ignore anything he produces. However, when he builds an ethical framework enabling billionaires to justify helping only themselves, then I have a problem with him.
