Fabrice Gillet is so good. He did the music for Atari Karts. Here's a fantastic track from him. Play in VLC if you don't have a dedicated module player. https://kwat.chat/attachment/51836 -

Shout out to D-Link for my trusty old router. Bought it for practically nothing at Staples a billion years ago and it's still working great. -

I love it when helpful people share code to show how something works. I just wish they'd remember to include a license so that I could use it. -

Looking back, this was actually a really neat project to work on. It was great seeing so many innovative solutions presented by fans. http://supermarkupworld.com/ -

Is the Asus Tinker Board good enough for desktop use? How far away are we from a $50 computer we can use for daily work? In conversation from kwat.chat permalink -

Horrifically self-serving referral link to get you to try out CuriosityStream, which is like Netflix but for documentaries and things like that. I actually really enjoy it and have been subbed for over a year.

@strypey what do you mean by test installs? If it's just you then an old Linux laptop will do the same. In conversation from kwat.chat permalink -

Howdy. I ended up moving it to DigitalOcean after a few weeks as the CloudAtCost thing was really unreliable. I would often have to reboot the machine via the web console (which wasn't encrypted, btw) because the hard disk had become read-only. Support tickets sat for days to weeks. In the end, I figured "you get what you pay for" and got a droplet. It's been smooth sailing since. In conversation from kwat.chat permalink -
