Playing through Shadowrun: Dragonfall. I finished Shadowrun Returns a couple of years ago and really liked it. I'm so glad there's Dragonfall and then Hong Kong to get through. Love these games!

When Medium dropped our access to their API without warning a few months ago, we decided to permanently end our integration with them.

Today we're happy to launch a new integration with an open publishing platform that can't do the same, Ghost.

Read more on their blog: https://blog.ghost.org/admin-api/

(Thanks to @johnonolan and the Ghost team for reaching out and helping with the implementation!)

The New Ghost Admin API: Build advanced publishing workflows
      from The Ghost Blog
Ghost has always had a REST API at its very core, but for the first few years while we were fleshing out basic features there wasn't a whole lot you could do with it. Now, all your favourite apps work with Ghost! At the beginning of this year we announced a brand new, public Content API [https://docs.ghost.org/api/content/] making it possible to easily pull any content out of Ghost. This also made it possible, for the first time, to use Ghost as a fully headless CMS [https://blog.ghost.org/ja

Memristors seem like they could be such a game changer, but progress is slow. I'm glad to see there are people still very much hard at work on this. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Imagine how awesome it would have been if LCD backlights were addressable. Games would make wicked use of this effect.

I watched General Magic at the Apollo Cinema in KW last night. Great documentary that provides so many opportunities for introspection with my own projects and my expectations of them.

One thing that's new with VR that no one is talking about is defaulting voice chat to always enabled. Many games and social apps in VR do this. It really changes the game when people hear your "inner" monologue when you join a server.

I've often thought about something halfway, like a sort of neuterscript, where it can only do things like animations.

The main problem with choosing a free software license is that they're a giant pile of legalese rather than a succient explanation of their goals.

MIT, BSD: Do whatever you want with this software, but it's not our responsibility (baseline)

Apache: Same but with extra protections for your trademarks/brand

GPL: Requires derivative software and software to also use the GPL license

LGPL: Requires derivatives to also use the LGPL license, but doesn't consider linking to a library to be a derivative

AGPL: Requires derivatives to also use the AGPL license, but considers communication over the network to be derivative

Dang, the new Blender (2.80) looks super slick. Crazy weird reversing left and right click, though. It's more natural coming from other apps, but a total mind fuck for anyone who is used to Blender already.
