The only thing you can really learn from Mastodon and the fediverse is to not put empty praise into the brand and infrastructure but celebrate the good people within it, the good things that these types of software do, etc.

Basically, fuck the fediverse. I'll pack my shit up and go when there's something better or it's more convenient for me. Fediversians can be good. All the friends I made on here. This is a tool and it has a lot of problems and baggage. Always more tools.

still learning the right way to texture paint. practicing on cheap models, painting sloppily, but trying to get the basics down

well im gonna keep practicing with characters cause i did not like the result of the texture paint or uv map... i feel good tho... im on the cusp of getting to a competent level at hand painting and stylized modeling
