in prey an eldritch invasion begins because a tech company captured and made technology out of an alien species, and accidentally created a bunch of beacons that attracted even more of the aliens. then the whole ship gets fucked. not a spoiler, this happens in like the first 20 minutes

everyone should play Prey its a game about trolley problems and why techbros are bad and why capitalism is bad. also its like system shock and also i wrote a long essay about it once its on my dreamwidth

the trolley problem exists just to make people feel guilty

@slightlyflightyone there is also request policy, which for people who don't like uMatrix can be combined with NoScript for a similar thing. i personally prefer uMatrix though, its so wonderful

I love Persona 2 Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment the most, but Persona 1 has a special place in my heart for how retro-cool it is, and how it has this unique nature to it that no Megami Tensei game has ever achieved.
