@sara it works quite well -- in our testing it worked with the native camera apps on iOS and android (although I doubt the current camera app these days is AOSP)

quine just sent me a photo of some books pressing creases out of a cross stitch she just finished

the cross stitch has our wifi network name and password, along with a QR code that took a full day to stitch
