    I really think ephemeral content like Pixelfed Stories will be huge for the fediverse.

    It will be possible to send a Story to a single user like a DM.

    A mobile developer could make a federated snapchat app with these APIs 😉 #pixelfed

    Due to a bug in registration code, we had to change the usernames of 19 users.

    We had to do this before federation support is launched to prevent other implementations (ie: Mastodon) from rejecting profiles with invalid usernames.

    We apologize for the inconvenience, if you are affected and do not like your new username please email hello@pixelfed.org from the email you signed up with and your top 3 desired usernames.

    I'm on the fence on how pixelfed comments are ordered on posts.

    IG shows the most recent and the "load more comments" button prepends them so oldest are at the top and newest at the bottom.
