I also added data like the last execution of the cron worker or any worker at all (this is good for sending a notification that something is wrong). And also the number of reports and the date of the last report is displayed. This means that you can create a notification for that as well. And yeah, we should do that inside the system, but the reports are still a place where we have a lot to improve.

We currently support three ways:

1. filed based avatar cache
2. Photo storage based (default)
3. No cache

In the admin settings you can disable the default photo storage. When this is disabled, either the filed based avatar cache is used when enabled or a simple pass through proxy solution. That one saves a lot of disc space, but regularly leads to avatar pictures that haven't been loaded.

!Friendica Admins does anyone uses the experimental avatar cache? It is activated with the setting 'avatar_cache' in the local.config.php. With this, the cached avatars will be stored in the file system, which increases the loading speed and should decrease the needed disc space.

If you already use it and you are already on RC, please follow the following steps to improve the space usage.

1. Deactivate it in the local.config.php
2. Execute bin/console clearavatarcache to clear that folder (this can last longer than a day)
3. Delete the contents of the "avatar" folder (this can last more than a day)
4. Activate the avatar cache again

Background: The folder structure in the avatar cache folder had been suboptimal. By removing it it will be refreshed in a less space consuming way. I gained more than 130 GB on my system.
