@ink_slinger @allan In principle, I like the idea of Canadians caring more about their local candidates, and MPs being more independent of their leaders.
But do you know where the advertising is essentially for local candidates, and not national? For our southern neighbours. I don't think we want our election campaigns or political parties to be more like theirs.
(Of course the causes of their political dysfunctions are complicated.)

It's a pity that desktop OS's stalled at only one clipboard and multi-button combos for invoking copy/cut/paste
Like, a "cut to clipboard 1" button, a "copy to clipboard 1" button, a "paste from clipboard 1" button and then n more clipboards
Idk maybe the num lock button could change the number pad into 3 sets of cut/copy/paste or something?
