Couldn't find an original source for this, but it's been labeled as "an old schoolhouse in Montana, 1922" and similar
It's almost the same size as my cabin design and very similar in look

I was looking at one-room schoolhouses and it occurred to me how similar the aesthetic is to tiny #cabins
This one struck me as particularly endearing

This is a *very* handy graphic. I’m still stuck on arrow keys too because I don’t remember the shortcuts
(Caveat, these do depend on your particular shell and distro so do check that they work the same)
If I recall correctly, I'd be amazed
A couple of years ago I made my master list of the best (IMO) movies to watch for Halloween. Watch them all or there will be consequences.
I don’t remember what the color coding was for.

"Do not touch."
"You know him. If he had held back, he would make a whole thing of it."
Comic Achille Talon by Greg.
@slphilxyz Very minimal. I don't expect to exceed 500ma since the most power-hungry component will be the microcontroller. The e-Ink driver may occasionally spike (the e-Ink panel should be low)
Of course, I need to put the components together and see how actual power usage will stack up. The power supply will drain a bit of power too
Updated the parts list under consideration for my DIY writing computer
Since I'm taking this to write in my off-grid cabin (TBA), I figured I'll include a solar charge controller so I don't have to plug it in
Selecting components is surprisingly hard because of the sheer breadth of options and very large swings in availability
@0x4464 Thank you. I made it for myself when I found how expensive even simple lab notebooks were
@karyl That’s the ultimate Halloween experience 😂
The original sin
@Wolf480pl @KnowPresent You mean “Not All Feedbacks”?
(I’ll show myself out)

@uranther @GardenOfForkingPaths Well, there’s my wishlist sorted
'I know many of you enjoyed the first Cabin Porn book (though I wish they'd have called it something else) so you will be pleased to hear that work is underway on a follow-up called Cabin Porn: Inside which will go through the keyhole to take a look inside readers' cabins. As they put it: "We’re excited to share that we’ve started our second book inspired by the most common question we receive, 'Can I see the inside of this cabin?'"'

Stars orbit galaxies
Galaxies form clusters
