The $1,700 is the most important bit, everything else will take second place. Once I have the medical assessment need met, I will have my disability confirmed, which gives me a solid monthly income to springboard other efforts off of.
...and Lincoln Financial Group owes me large sums of money once I can prove my disability, too.
@cypnk Pretty much the same here in Ottawa, minus maybe a degree at most. Forecast has us in the mid-30s (plus humidity, and Ottawa's a humid city) right through Thursday at least.
PSA: We’re about to experience some serious heat. In fact, New York will hit 95 - 97F (36C+) over the weekend and many folks don’t have aircon or adequate access to cool water
Please check on your neighbors to see if they’re OK and have enough resources to make it through this. It’s sometimes hard to know when someone is overheated or maybe they’re too embarrassed to tell you, but do check anyway
If they’re elderly or infirm or if they have young children, they’re especially at high risk
I have previously dabbled with the idea of creating this game I came up with called The Void. It's an exploration/puzzle #pixelart game.
I am considering picking this project back up and working on it again. I didn't do much aside from initial idea planning and a couple of pixel art concepts.
I also don't know how to make games, but I was thinking of learning #godot to build it.
@cypnk the best part for me is that people tout amazon's recommendation system as some kind of miraculous world-changing event that will be marked on the timeline of humanity
i mean, it's about as good as a tivo's suggestions in the late 90s
reposting that with the story that goes with it, my #freebsd media box kept mysteriously rebooting, no amount of debugging or tracing seemed to pick up the spurious restarts. It turns out my 2yo "expert" loved the flashing lights as it started up, and found out how to hard reset it. 3 months of wondering wtf was happening until I filmed this.
