Ok so that's funny

I've been staring at my latest playlist going, 'this is just missing something, it's not complete'

so I figured out what it needed, an extra song to resolve the two halves of the Mobius loop

but it meant breaking one of my rules for the whole project, which is, there are always exactly 10 or 16 songs.

@foxwitch So.... Middle America got mighty fed up with constantly voting in a bunch of corrupt rich blackmail-ees, and decided to cut out the middle man and just vote in their blackmail-er instead.

@foxwitch Also yep. When your political prospects are entirely dependent on the goodwill of a rich donor class, your interest in making yourself very offensive to the important people in that rich donor class tends to diminish.

@foxwitch I mean, not *just* Bill. I think probably most of the governing class of the USA were at those parties. Whether Epstein's or Trump's. So it's been the nuclear option. Automatic mutually assured destruction of anyone who raises the issue, except, Trump's been crazy enough to edge closer and closer to the line.

I also put around even money on any of this ever getting out. If it hits a certain point, it all burns. So the entire system doesn't want to know.

I could see this happening right around the time all the laws about child porn started to get VERY draconian, most ESPECIALLY around disclosure of the material. Eg anything that would reveal who was involved. This happening simultaneously in the USA and UK.

It seemed fairly obvious that what was happening was intelligence agencies wanting to retain control of a very important asset, kinda the nuclear weapon of politics.
