It's the year 3089 after the second coming. Post-humanity has conquered the Milky Way. They have build the biggest know network, allowing instantaneous discussion from any two point in the galaxy.

In the network, the biggest war known to mankind (or rather, post-mankind), is fought between adepts of different test editors and associated tools.

No one knows who fired the first shot. Some claim it was the Vim confederates, other that is was the church of Emacs. A few talk abut an IDE conspiracy. Whoever it was, it's been lost buried under a millennium of conflict...
