This time it's an older OC of mine, Francis! He's a shy old man who lives in the rotted out hulk of a wrecked ship washed ashore. He lost his life to the greed of another and was given a second chance by a strange godly creature.

He is very shy, but very kind. He likes to tell stories to anyone who cares to drop by. He doesn't believe he's worth anything in this life, but he is. He just hasn't realized it yet.

His name is Markov and he's a fence; he buys questionably obtained items and resells them for profit. He is based on a Man O' War so he has some stinging/stunning superpowers as well!

Almost all of my local TL is about people being proud and happy about posting their OCs and I am 3000% here for it 💪 I'm glad we're finally getting out of that "all OCs are Mary Sues and bad" mindset and we can focus on what makes us happy

Honestly though, the idea that OCs are 'Mary Sues' and therefore cringey is bullshit. As long as you're not hurting anyone, make whatever character you want! A god, a demon, a half angel, a love interest for a canon character you wanna bang, male, female, NB, an original species - just go nuts. Have fun. OCs are infinite amounts of playdo and we are the delighted toddlers going absolutely bananas with it
