Vielleicht wäre es noch eine Idee, den Unterschied zwischen Föderation und kompletter Dezentralisierung (Serverfreiheit) zu nennen? Gibt ja Scuttlebutt oder auch verschiedene Onion-Service-basierte Messenger.

@freakazoid no idea, sorry. I'm not really into new phones, I prefer older ones for non-technical reasons (cost, availability, sustainability etc).

On the technical side, #replicant support is important to me, which limits it to a very specific generation of phones

When people ask what phone they should get hold of for LineageOS, I usually recommend older Samsung Galaxy top of the line models, e.g. S3/S4/S5.

Don't go for midrange models or cheaper variants - among other incompatibilities, they can be surprisingly slow. I just ran a CPU benchmark on an S3 and on an S5 mini - and voilà, the S3 is actually faster although it is two years older.

Just wanted to mention this because people are often left in the dark in terms of CPU power of certain models :)

Okay, I just set up a Minetest server. Download the game from https://www.minetest.net/ or through your repositories. Then join:

Server: resist.berlin // Port: 30000

Let's see if it works. If it does, I will let it run 24/7.

And yes, it's currently a completely vanilla world without mods. Please don't complain for now 😁
