Teaching the internet would help immensely already. I'm still thinking about a GNU world order tbh. Was playing SuperTuxKart today and I felt completely satisfied. 🙂
But I think teaching Python and replacing Microsoft with Free Software (which is becoming better every week, literally) is an absolute necessity.
We need book literacy and computer literacy equally.

@aral Imagine the possibilities if children learned LibreOffice, GIMP, Audacity, Pitivi, Inkscape, C, Python - but also GnuPG, Tor, XMPP, OMEMO - at school.
This would not only increase the acceptance of free software, but also the quality would rise to a whole new level. Imagine the number of bug reports and feature requests we would get within three years, imagine the number of people actively working on code within six years.
We could be in a completely different world within six years.

Watching #BRASUI on my 12 year old Thinkpad X60, just for fun. It runs Libreboot and Debian Sid and handles it perfectly - the HD stream causes only ~30% CPU load.
It's really not necessary to buy new hardware all the time. May this be a reminder :)
