    I decided to promote some groups for the newbies, now that the spring might or might not be coming ;-) !fedgroups
    If you don't know what groups are all about or how they work, just ask!
    The !grow group is for exchange about growing whatever, gardens, balconies, a pot of salad on your window sill.. so if you grow anything or like to hear and see about it, consider joining.

    Since most of us have had enough with snow the !rain appreciation society might be worth considering. It's for people who like rain or who like to rain dance or like to get wet.

    The !sewing group is for people who like to sew, also for embroidery and related stuff. So if you want to share ideas or projects or just get inspired, this is for you.

    If you want to get people to know about your favorite groups, join in with the introductions in this thread. :-)

    @FrauWeide @winterdienst Die Gruppen auf gnusocial sind ein bisschen untergegangen in letzter Zeit, aber es gibt viele viele Themenbezogene Gruppen, wo man mit anderen Interessierten in Kontakt treten kann. Es waere total toll, wenn das wieder weiter Verbreitung findet. Wenn man einer Gruppe beitritt, bekommt man die Posts von Leuten in der Gruppe mit dem Bangtag (!) in die Timeline, auch ohne ihnen sonst zu folgen. Es gibt zum Beispiel die Gruppen !coffee !guerrillagardening !antifa !rain !sewing !tzag und alle koennen auch neue Gruppen gruenden. Ich kann auch eine Liste der existierenden Gruppen raussuchen.

    A little while ago I bought some leftover elastic fabric from a company that produces fair clothes and uses organic materials. Today I did some tye dye on it. And as soon as I figure out how to sew elastic fabric I hope to make a Schlummelhose out of it.

    My little sister is so sweet. She gave me buttons, textile color spray and a huge packet of embroidery thread, 100 pieces. !sewing

    On gnusicial, if you join a group, like !guerrillagardeing you get all posts from that group, even if you don’t follow the poster. It’s a great way to filter for content your intrested in, there are all kinds of groups like !sewing or !beer or !antifa.
