xaver artix@bobjonkman @cameron Well, I bricked my old Pentium IV notebook while trying to flash a new bios, but it did not keep me back from flashing mobile phones. :D
I guess it's also about finding a good, trustworthy tutorial (you- hooktube is surprisingly good sometimes) and as I mentioned, having a safety net in form of a backup is crucial.
And when it's scary - and indeed it is for me too -, it makes that feeling even better you see that new splash screen of the freshly flashed rom booting...
