Yes, it does seem to be. It is the Heart of Darkness I have, and it holds up to water, doesn't smudge at all.

I have a couple of Diamine inks in pretty colors that run just thinking about water, so I might replace them with Noodler's colors, when I run out in 10 years.

I'm thinking of finding a faster web host. Are there any hosting companies that are extra fast and extra ethical?

But it depends how lame the cartridge color is compared to the new ink. And anyway, don't listen to us, follow your own lil fountain pen-loving heart!

....I wouldn't be surprised if there are more women here (not to mention other potentially vulnerable social groups) than we realize, who simply choose to lie low. Being female in this world has taught me to test the waters before assuming it's safe.

That said, the Linux community I've interacted with has been nothing but warm and friendly and supportive, which is wonderful, and I appreciate it!

Just my 2 cents: I do think there's value in making spaces especially for people who might feel insecure or unsafe.

I've had a positive experience on Mastodon, but it was a while before I was open about being female, (with gender-neutral avatar and username), because you never know when people are going to be uncool....

Oh gosh you guys, that's something I hadn't thought of! Thank you! My programming prowess is limited to html and building gentle web sites, I've never done any admin stuff. I appreciate your support for ladies in tech, and it would be cool to do a little bit to help provide that space. Let me ponder that one...

Right, I see what you mean. That's mighty suspicious. But now when I restore the original mac it works fine again. Maybe I'll research scanning the network for bad stuff.

Oh, that's a spooky thought! No other signs of trouble, though. And cloning the MAC address made everything work fine again.

It's a Frontier router. And it was three different sites of mine it blocked, not the same one multiple times. I wondered if some FTP attempts triggered a warning or something. So odd.

This is the second time (it's been a year or two since the first time), that my router decided to block access to my web site and I had to clone the MAC address in the router settings to get it to work again. Weird! But at least it works.

@matt Ouch! So glad Debian still has it, and I hope they keep it going for a good while to come... I wonder how all those services you mentioned will cope.

Interesting, I'll investigate. I don't actually care about Git, it was just a way to host a tiny static site.

Oh I agree! Not saying it wasn't ridiculous, and I kept mad backups.
