    Aber auch schön wie wenig die Instanz qoto.org gegen eindeutige Faschisten vorgehen will. Meinungsfreiheit über ALLES. So dürfen dann auch AfD-Mitglieder ihren Unsinn als gediegene Kritik tarnen. Ist halt inzwischen ALLES vollkommen normal hier und dann wird darüber nachgedacht zu wachsen? Wohin bitte? Auch noch dem Gedankenabfall von faschistischen Parteien, Gruppierungen unter dem oben genannten Deckmäntelchen eine Möglichkeit bieten? Damit dann auch ein Höcke solch widerlichen Sätze wie das Nachfolgende von sich geben kann: "[...] wir leider ein paar Volksteile verlieren werden, die zu schwach oder nicht willens sind [...]"

    Nochmals: Das sind eindeutige Faschisten und Nationalsozialisten. Diesen ein Zuhause zu geben wird hier gar nichts lösen. Im Gegenteil: Es wird das #Fediverse nur umkrempeln und zu dem machen was die anderen Plattformen sind. Ausgeburten eines widerlichen Pragmatismus. Das Lied der "Mehrheit" trällern und wenn diese dann eben das rechte Ärmchen hebt, so zieht man dann gleich? #Fuck-Society

    Well, just to note dear members of the #Fediverse: You know what some instances and their administrators share? Literally the same bullshit described as "horseshoe theory": Comparing left and right extremism being all the same. In this case "Nazis" and "Antifa" are compared. This is absolutely wrong because it's just using this all-time picture blaming everyone for doing antifascism. And even worse: Making a joke, but also saying that there is something about it. As always: Just some hypothesis? #Fuck-Society #Stop-Playing-Bullshit

    Is there anyone of you at the Chaos Communication Congress in Leipzig this year right after Christmas? Is there anyone interested to have a meeting there?

    Just some exchange, we would need some people to moderate the event, but basically some meetup to exchange information and get to know other players in the field.
    "Someone" could then register a "talk" or "meetup" for the upcoming congress, I'd say a duration of about 1.5 to 2 hours and maybe 60+ people can be expected, assuming there is many #webmasters or #developers among the visitors at the #35C3.

    Any #devs and #webmaster of the following systems, or any that I might have missed that are using #ActivityPup and can communicate with the others, please comment here if you like the idea!

    There is room in the #Fediverse for both single & multi-topic posters. Is that what you mean by "channel"?

    I tend to only post on topics listed on my profile page, but sometimes stray onto other subjects (particularly when commenting on posts by others).

    I do follow some people who only post on single topics. However, my home timeline still has diversity because I have a wide range of single topic posters. I also follow many people who post on diverse topics.

    @nipos Ich würde das #Fediverse genau so betrachten wollen: Kleine Knoten, die miteinander reden. Aber genau der Umkehrschluss ist das Problem: Riesige Datenknoten, die dann zudem noch immer größer werden und irgendwann wird der Punkt erreicht sein, an welchem Unternehmen das wirklich attraktiv finden werden. Sei das über die Implementierung von ActivityPub, eigene Konten oder eben auch eine eigene Instanz. Und da man eine freie Auswahl mit freier Software hat, kann man unter Umständen auch eigene Modifikationen vornehmen und muss diese nicht einmal wieder zurück mit der Gemeinschaft zwecks Beurteilung und Übernahme teilen. Gruselig! @frank

    @frank Das ehrt dich und wäre bei mir auch nicht anders. Dürfte für viele Andere auch gelten. Nur habe ich beim Erkunden des #Fediverse entsprechend unterschiedlichste Haltungen gefunden. Und wenn dann ein Beitrag von mir oder dir inkl. Bild dort geteilt wird, gelangen die Inhalte auch entsprechend in andere Kanäle und können wieder so ausgewertet werden.

    Genial finde ich aber wie eh und je: Statt wirklich über echte Alternativen nachzudenken, wirkliche Gegenentwürfe zum bekannten Kommerz und den proprietären Plattformen, kopiert man lieber hier weiter im #Fediverse und freut sich auf den Release von #Pixelfed. Aber hey: Unternehmen haben ja ebenso Berechtigung hier zu sein wie alle anderen Teilnehmer / Teilnehmerinnen ebenso - und am Schluss wird sich dann gewundert wieso denn bitte Alles beim Alten verblieben ist, der Tonfall sich weiter verschärft hat und es niemals zu einem Miteinander gekommen ist. Das hat ja schon bei #Diaspora so grandios nicht funktioniert: "Wir wollen sein wie Facebook, sind aber gleichzeitig auch besser!" Dann kam die gesammelte Mentalität von Facebook und was blieb am Schluss? Nicht viel mehr als ein harsches Gegeneinander. #Einfach-mal-weitermachen-wie-bisher
