    This is challenging: we need maps, but also Geocoding and reverse, Directions, addresses autocomplete… https://switch2osm.org lists some libs, but I’d love to hear from real devs. Do you have resources and tips to share? Feedback on how to configure the different libs? E.g. nominatim often doesn’t find addresses, but I’m sure it can be tweaked.

    What sort of freakout does #Google do when you switch networks? I get some freakout whenever I start Chromium with all the cookies cleared (like, every time I start Chromium), but I've just tagged those e-mails as spam and I don't see them any more...

    @christian @vilbi @inaktion @karneol Gute Frage: Ich glaube, das da sich die Teilnehmern / Teilnehmerinnen schon diverse Fragen für den Anfang zunächst beantwortet haben. Ich habe auch den umgekehrten Fall erlebt: Durch ein nicht-lösungsorientiertes, nahezu rein theoretisches Diskussionsverhalten haben Menschen den dezentralen, quelloffenen Plattformen den Rücken gekehrt und sind zu #Google und Co. zurück.

    Das Problem ist insofern sehr breit gefächert und immer auch abhängig von der individuellen Erwartungshaltung. Das dies eine sehr bunte Gemeinschaft beispielsweise ist, nicht monolithisch organisiert und durchweg auch mit "normalen" Problemen versehen kann ein Punkt sein.

    Vielleicht sind die im technischen Bereich versierteren Nutzer / Nutzerinnen auch gleichzeitig sensibler für Problemstellungen und Fragen? Dann allerdings greifen trotzdem Ermüdungserscheinungen, sich also das Leben dennoch einfacher zu machen: Links zu #YouTube und #Twitter sind ja dennoch Alltagskultur, obgleich man dann weiß was dort so alles technisch passiert. Vielleicht ist gerade das auch in Ermangelung an Alternativen und der nicht erkennbaren Linie teils ein Problem?

    Um zum ersten Punkt dieses Beitrags zu kommen: Besagte Nutzer haben #Diaspora beispielsweise aus unterschiedlichsten Gründen verlassen: Persönliche Enttäuschung? Stete theoretische Debatten ohne Ziel? Lippenbekenntnisse? Blockwart-Mentalität? Alles in allem also bekannte Probleme und dennoch benötigen sie Aufmerksamkeit oder anders formuliert: Eine aufmerksame Gemeinschaft.
