#sonTwo told me that #GS3 found a gift card stuck in one of the books I sent him. He pulled it off the book and stuck it to the wall.
-
#sonTwo said the graphics tablet I bought him is very small, but still useful for what he's doing.
#Daddy_A hasn't said anything about it at all.
-
#sonTwo was teaching #GS3 (2 years old) to sing old N'Sync and Backstreet Boys songs today. #GS4 (3 months old) was quite amused by it all.
-
#sonTwo's kids are too young for school, so they don't need a shipment.
-
"I needs me gold!" -- the commercial for the movie Leprechaun.
Never saw it, but #sonOne grabbed onto that phrase and said it for months. I think he was in junior high or high school. You'd have thought he was #sonTwo's age (ten years younger).
-
Promised #sonTwo I'd focus on this, despite the heat and the interruptions.
-
#GS4's 5-pack of Star Wars bodysuits arrived today. I forgot to tell #sonTwo I had ordered them until he texted to ask whether I had sent baby clothing.
Yes, but that was June. Are they just arriving now?
-
Spent 2.5 hours on the phone with #faveNephew and 0.5 hours on the phone with #sonTwo tonight.

Latest photo: #sonTwo reading a technical manual to #GS4. They got some new equipment at work, so he has to read the manual. It's just convenient that the baby needs someone to read to him at the same time.

Daughter-in-law informed me that the sunscreen arrived and there was more of it than I expected. They should be supplied for a long time.
#sonTwo told me yesterday that they had just used the last of their supply on the hot and sunny day that led to me sending sunscreen their way.
It is SPF50, hypoallergenic, water / sweat resistant, made for babies and toddlers, made for sensitive skin. You know. Ticks all the boxes.

#sonTwo says #GS3 hasn't been eating well since his recent illness. He's wondering whether it was #COVID-19 ... that perhaps the child's senses of smell and taste are affected.
So far, the only food he eats without fighting is #yogurt. He even rejected salad and french fries (two of his favorites). They ordered #pizza for tonight, hoping that he still likes that.
-
#sonTwo had to miss half his shift. They took #GS3 to urgent care because he had vomiting and diarrhea and a fever. By the time the doctor saw him, the symptoms had abated.
I think the father-in-law is trying to help them get a second car.

Final score 9-8.
#sonTwo called, so we had a video call of us and #GS3 watching the game. #GS4 looked at the TV briefly, then went to sleep.
When it was time to hang up, sonTwo asked GS3 to say goodbye, but GS3 yelled "No!" and ran offscreen. I could not keep from laughing.

Got a call from #sonTwo for Fathers' Day. #GS3 had too much excitement this weekend (yesterday's zoo trip), so a #videochat depends on how cranky he is after his nap. It was a hot day, too, so #GS4 was sleepy all day yesterday.
-
#sonTwo took his family to a zoo today. #GS3 is exhausted after seeing zebras and giraffes. #naptime
-
#sonTwo reports that #GS3 at age two still likes fruits and vegetables. Also cheese and yogurt.

"Ready for a change in black economics? Join the Bitcoin revolution. Bitcoin and Black America is a dynamic new book that explores the synergy between black economics, Bitcoin and blockchain technology. The global financial system is changing and the digital revolution will not be televised. We explore how to incorporate cryptocurrency in your business, job and educational institution. This book also outlines the need for separation from the racist banking system and a comprehensive list of blakc professionals actively working in the Blockchain industry." -- blurb on the back cover.
Seeing this, now I'm not sure what I've gotten myself into. But read it I will, and depending on what it says, I may forward it onward to #sonTwo or #Daddy_A (with instructions to read it and then forward to the other).

#GS3 was tired and hungry, and a little bit less interested in talking with grandpa tonight. He decided not to say night night. Maybe he thought saying “NO!” would get him more time, but it was time to eat and bathe and go to bed.
Today, a woman from church gave him one of her child’s surplus toys. By the end of the day, he’d already broken a piece off of it. #sonTwo is going to try to superglue it back on, but I think they’re going to end up disposing of the toy entirely pretty soon.

#sonTwo says that #GS4 currently has a very strong preference for Mommy over Daddy. Could be that he's too young to know how to sing, so he cries instead.

Last year, while visiting #sonTwo and meeting #GS3 in person for the first time, I asked my daughter-in-law about smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. She said they had one of each, but she wanted more. So I ordered a few of each and they put them up.
Tonight, the gas stove wasn't turned all the way off and the CO detectors went off. Daughter-in-law put the kids and the dog on the porch, then opened the windows and investigated until she found the source. My son was at work.
sonTwo called me to tell me that his wife had called him at work to let him know that the detectors may have saved all their lives. Naturally, they're both quite thankful.
