No phone call with #sonOne, #GD1, #GD2 today (network issue at work, so he was on conference bridges all day), but I did get a nice message on Wire.
Had a nice videochat with #sonTwo and his wife and doggy ( #GS3 was having a nap ). Also got a photo of him and the baby wearing #Dodgers gear.
Nothing from #Daddy_A today. I expect I'll get a "Hey, I forgot; I hope you're not mad" message in 2-3 days.

Shipped some toys to #Daddy_A in #NE. Forgot to ship the baby clothes to #sonTwo in #MO.

Stayed up until 21:00 in case #sonTwo called after work, but now I really cannot delay any longer. Good night and #tzaf.

@kaikatsu I don’t even use my Nintendo #Switch. I’m not even sure I’ve turned it on one time within the last 12 months.
I should box it up next time I’m home and send it to #sonTwo to hold until #GS3 is old enough to use it.

One of my brothers posted a picture of us and a friend from high school. #sonTwo saw it and sent me a screenshot.

Now that #sonTwo is working two jobs, I have to wait for him to call, so I don't call him at work.

#sonTwo got a 2nd job to help pay their bills and get back on their feet.

#sonTwo and his wife send pictures of #GS3 multiple days per week. They are making sure that he's at the top of the favorite grandchild list.

Waiting for #sonTwo to appear and deciding whether to call #sonOne while I'm waiting. I suspect that I'll get the "we're ready for a videochat" message from the younger soon after I call the elder.

#sonTwo was also worried because I’ve been a little sad about another friend’s passing. It seems like my old peer group (fellow students from high school and the friends I made in the years immediately following) is dying off faster than one would expect.
I think I’m handling it. We don’t get a choice. Born —> Die. That’s the natural progression.

Me: I bumped my foot on another raised section of sidewalk. Now it isn’t just the front of my foot that hurts. This time it goes all the way up to my knee.
#sonTwo: Have you thought of skipping a few days of #walking? You can drive to the store if you have to go anywhere.

Pricing Macbooks for #sonTwo. The used one I paid for a few months ago doesn't boot anymore.

I did not even pull out the laptop today, so the planned learning did not happen. I’ve been walking a lot and using the tablet when I’m at the hotel.
Just realized how late it is when #sonTwo called to say goodnight.

I think this ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_IIc ) is the one that #sonTwo’s elementary school had available for loan to families. The waiting list was too long.

@lain @duponin It isn't "cheapskate" to say that at some point, camera pricing only makes sense if you're using it for producing income.
When I sent #sonTwo $3,000 to replace his broken camera, it was _only_ because he used the camera in one of his jobs.

@bthall The funny thing is #sonOne and #sonTwo each contact me to ask how the other is doing, but they contact each other directly to talk about me or #Daddy_A.

#sonOne and #sonTwo don't talk much (10 years age difference), but when I shared some financial info with the younger one, the older called the next day, "Do you need me to send money?"
