#sonTwo was at the big blue discount store buying food for dinner. He called me to say “Don’t go to the store or you may end up buying that Galaga arcade machine replica.”
I said “Don’t worry, I don’t participate in ’Black Friday’ or ‘Cyber Monday’”.

#sonTwo called. Some computer controlled system in their dwelling failed, so half has no power even though the fuses are all good. They estimate the part’s cost at $300, not including installation.

I wasn’t going to tell #sonTwo any more about the sneaky and manipulative things his cousin does to try to get me to send money or buy things, but today’s series of messages were bad enough that I had to share.

A co-worker called to tell me he's leaving #PR soon and wanted to ask whether $EMPLOYER would pay to ship his (assigned agency-owned) tools to one of the offices in his home state.

Then another co-worker who is leaving soon called to tell me about an office in his home state that was recently turned over to another agency, and to ask whether I'd heard about it. Answer: I heard the rumor, but the timing was different.

#sonTwo is discussing his cousin #lazyNephew’s “I can’t do $TASK because I don’t have the same expensive equipment as people that are already making a living doing $TASK” ... he’s right, but he’s being pretty harsh. I really want S2 to join me in trying to help LN to gain agency, an internal locus of control. The whole family will benefit when my nephew is again self-sustaining.

#sonTwo (age 30) and #Daddy_A (age 29) are trying to explain to me that the 29 year old just goes silent from time to time when he's focusing on something and that after all these years, I should stop thinking it is my fault when it happens.

@kaniini I used to take #sonTwo and his friends and cousins to the local mall and a local church to have supervised activities and pre-inspected candy. It was less worry than knocking on doors.

I currently believe we were too protective, but the media was always talking about crimes against children, and we made sure our kids were never far from a trusted adult.

I currently have a #PS2, a #PS3, a #PS4, a #PSP, and a #PSVita. All of the above were acquired since the PS4's release. (I bought a PS3 when I was in #NE in 2008, but I shipped it home and #sonTwo had taken possession of it.)

The package was delivered. #Daddy_A has figured out that we (his brother #sonTwo and myself) are getting him the parts to build a computer.

I’m already tempted to tell #Daddy_A about the surprise that #sonTwo and I are working on. He’ll figure it out on his own soon enough if I can keep my mouth shut.
