I was going to call @amic and @dog today / tonight, but it didn’t happen. Nor did I talk with #sonOne, #sonTwo, #Daddy_A (but he’s not talking much because he still hurts from chin and neck to ear), or #faveNephew. Sorry everyone, I will try again tomorrow night.

#sonTwo sent me a picture from their dinner. I think it looks like they went to Lambert’s Cafe in Ozark #MO, but they didn’t drive that far.

#sonTwo called after got off work, but it was 23:00 here. I was asleep and did not hear it.

Writing a witness statement. A “division director” from another office was exceptionally rude to a member of $EMPLOYER #TechTeam. It was about ten feet away from me, to the right rear, so I could not help but be a witness. i did have to communicate with #sonTwo and #faveNephew before I agreed to write my statement.

I was mentioning to #sonTwo how many elderly and borderline elderly people we have at $EMPLOYER. He says “Dad, I’m the only one who’ll tell you this ... .”
We both burst into laughter.

#sonTwo figured out some family history that we have not shared with his generation. (It wasn’t secret, just something that we figured would be too boring.) He’s a lot smarter than he thinks he is.

I am rather grumpy this morning. There's some family drama that got stirred overnight. My response was to lay out what happened and why, only redacting the names of some who have not yet been dragged into it, while implying that some people on one "side" are secretly not really supporting that side's arguments.
I'm expecting it to blow up family-wide today, but then we should have a group phone call where I'll vocally say most of what I already put in writing, and it should fizzle out after that.
I'm definitely not happy with #lazyNephew for starting this. So far, I've kept #sonTwo out of it, despite him being the focus of his cousin's claims.

Did something change about the show? Both #sonOne and #sonTwo have pretty much stopped talking about it in the past six months to a year. I don't know if they just haven't thought about mentioning it or if they've stopped watching.

Tonight's call with #sonTwo was shorter than normal. We talked about jobstuff (he's in a new state, looking for a job) and the movie they watched last night, and birthday presents for the AUG and SEP grandkids' birthdays.

I missed #sonTwo's call (18:00, so I was probably still on the bus, heading for the park-and-ride). By the time I called back, he was in bed.

#sonTwo successfully completed his return to #MO, leeaving #FL yesterday and arrivibg today.

Mentioned to #sonTwo that I had a shot at a few months' work in #FL and he said "I spent eight years in Florida and you never visited even once. As soon as I leave you want to go there?"
I have one to three weeks to express interest. I'll talk to K about it. He worked in that office for a while. It can't be worse than working in #PR.

Missed #sonTwo's call today (and he missed mine), but I did have a long talk with #lazyNephew about job-hunting and not losing hope when it takes longer than one expected.
