    @bob Satellite Pro was Toshiba. #sonTwo had one. I called it the aircraft carrier because of its size and strong construction, but it lasted longer than anything else he ever had.

    I intentionally touched ocean water (and bored Mom, #sonOne, #sonTwo, @mike with a pic of my hand in 1/2 inch of water). First time for Atlantic/Caribbean water, even though I've worked near the Atlantic or the Gulf of Mexico several times.

    I talked briefly with my mom after church. She was mostly telling me to walk on the beach and relax.

    Since today is #Mothers_Day, I skipped the daily call with #sonTwo and the weekly call with #sonOne and the weekly call with my oldest brother. (I've discontinued the weekly call with #Daddy_A for now.)

    @dog Hey, CB was one of the best dogs ever!

    ( Background: When #sonTwo and I found a starving puppy during a hike ten miles outside of town, we named it "Charlie Brown" before it would let us get close enough to know its sex. A few weeks later, after returning to feed it regularly, we were able to get the renamed "CB" female puppy into the car and bring her home. )

    One year ago: on a cold, rainy #Louisiana day, I met #sonTwo and his wife for a meal in Hammond. It was my first time meeting my daughter-in-law.

    There had been tornado warnings most of the way from #Baton_Rouge to Hammond, and up into #Mississippi, where they had spent a night or two camping.

    Afterward, they went to New Orleans and then back home to #Florida, but we were under a 50-mile restriction, so I went back to BR.

    My son just sent me a photo from that day. I look so OLD in that picture.

    Today's call with #sonTwo was also fruitful. I shared tidbits from the earlier call with his brother (and ordered another couple of items to ship to @mike) and was lectured about self-control during our discussion of #Krispy_Kreme doughnuts (I ate 2 at work yesterday but still lost 1.6 pounds versus the previous day) and burgers.
    Then I briefly talked to my mom. I'm sort of afraid to ruin a great commumication day, so I'm calling my oldest brother before I attempt to call #Daddy_A.
