@dog They were both good. CB used to watch #sonTwo and tell me if he did anything she thought he wasn't allowed to do.

I think I'm going to keep this glass corner desk when I move. I originally bought it for #sonTwo, but he left it when he moved to #FL.
-
Remembering that I homeschooled #sonTwo for one semester when he was in 9th or 10th grade. He had some sort of lung infection and was not supposed to be around other kids. It was the school district's curriculum. I think we were both glad when he was able to return to school.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/swagtron-swagger-electric-scooter-black/5659902.p #sonTwo wants to try to find ways to reduce the need for a car. He's thinking that he might be able to ride a scooter at least part of the way to work.

On a #Wire videochat with #sonTwo. He called almost immediately after I returned from my walk.

#sonTwo and his wife have named my new granddoggie. River is six weeks old and has potty-trained herself before they could even start. She had her first hike (only about 1/4 mile long) and was just about at the "carry me" stage when it ended.
-
I must say I appreciate the way that #sonTwo and The Little One ( @mike ) tag-teamed to persuade me to continue resting instead of returning to work early. Thanks to both of you.
-
@dog Never tried it. I played Quake once and I played Duke Nukem once (both on someone else's computers). At home, I had the two I mentioned and some of the Math Blaster type stuff for #sonTwo.
Even back then, I worked too much.

#sonTwo is back in #FL (but still hours away from home) after traveling to #AL to pick up his wife's new puppy.

#sonTwo called me (as he does almost every day). This time, he was telling me that his wife's educational program was being disrupted by her #Kindle's inability to install whatever DRM-laden edubook reader her campus required.
I was driving to the hotel after work, so I stopped at an office store, bought a low-priced tablet with a recent version of #Android on it, drove to the #UPS store and shipped it.
A few days later, she was able to study during her breaks at work.
(And I understand that if you were not in the right place at the right time, you won't know what I'm talking about "big picture", even though the examples I'm posting are clear and understandable.)

Shortly after #sonTwo was married, his wife got lost on her way home from work because her cellphone battery was discharged so the GPS satellite navigation wasn't available.
During our daily call, he told me the story. I drove to a nearby retailer and purchased a carrier-unlocked cellphone and a separate Garmin unit. The next day, on the way to the hotel after work, I shipped the devices to him.

As I was prepping for bed last night, I got a call from #sonTwo, who was driving through #GA and #AL. In a few hours, he will pick up his wife's new dog and head back to #FL with it.
We used to get free puppies from families outside Kmart. We'd look at the puppies, the mama dog, the papa dog if available, and the human family to decide whether to bring home a new addition to the family.

#sonTwo: Are you sure you're not suicidal?
Me: No, that's why I took time off work, so I would not become that way. Just because I sometimes wish I had died in 1984 or 1985 doesn't mean I'm going to take my own life today.
I guess I should not have said anything if I did not want him to worry. At least he hasn't told the other kids, so I'm not getting panicked calls from them.
By the way, this was a few days ago. Everything is fine now.

The #Win10 tablet is going through the "Reset" process now. When I ship it to #sonTwo in #FL next week, he'll pass it along to a friend.
-
#sonTwo asked me a while back whether his father-in-law should "invest" in #Bitcoin. I said "absolutely not; prices rise and fall so quickly that he'd be better off going to a casino".
During my son's recent move, the in-laws helped them and the father-in-law told him to thank me for my answer.
-
#sonTwo thinks he's found someone who can use my cheap "nextbook" #Win10 tablet with attachable keyboard. I think I'll be shipping it next week.
-
Today's walk to the store was right around 6 miles each way. I was not prepared for this distance, nor for the weight of yogurt and Powerade that I brought back.
#sonTwo is reminding me of this, even though I realized it myself on the way back.

Overall, I think I've been pretty good about hiding which son is the favorite, but in the last year or so, I think everyone knows #sonTwo is it.
(It used to be that #sonOne thought the 2nd kid was it, while the 2nd kid thought the older kid was it. #Daddy_A is a special case.)
Hopefully, no one in the family knows which grandkids are favorites.
-
I may have to tell #sonTwo and the little one to log into #Wire. It still says "Sent" instead of "Delivered".

#Daddy_A and family have almost completed their move. Their Internet service should be active on Thursday.
#sonTwo and his wife are still working on their move. He's trying to find a non-profit that will take most of their furniture (new place is much smaller), but being on the 3rd floor scares most of them away.
