This is a scan of an A3 piece (297 x 420 mm) I drew a while back. Open it in a new tab to see the full detail. It too Many Hours (TM). (Around 25 I think?)

Used a variety of technical pens (like Copic multiliners), a refillable technical pen with white ink for the stars (an Aristo MK1 pen), and Prismacolor Premiere pencils for the gemstones.

It snowed here last night, on the mountaintops - snow in this part of South Africa is pretty rare, so my friend picked me up and we went driving over one of the local mountain passes to go through the snow, and took the doggies with us. This was just after coming down the pass on the other side into the town of Franschoek.

We're taking the coffee machine to the second Winter Surfski Series race on Sunday, registration and stuff happens at the place our friend owns down on the front. The story:

When my gran was learning Welsh, one of the women in the class couldn't pronounce 'ardderchog' which is Welsh for excellent, so she'd say 'half hedgehog'. My mum relayed the story at her workplace and it stuck, and whenever anyone did a good job they'd say they got half a hedgehog.

My mum's boss was leaving and had a farewell party for the staff last night and gave them all little silver hedgehogs on chains. <3
