@Iamthebammbamm@adam every child in the world can be inspired by SpaceX somewhat as two generations prior the world's children got inspired by the Apollo moon landings but sure @adam says they're all fake, right? Doesn't matter if moon satellites send back the traces of gear and foot steps on the moon, no matter if NASA has thousands hours of moonwalk footage online. Sure sure, billions people watching Saturn5 launches 1969-1973 was all fake.
@Iamthebammbamm@adam am I being the asshole? It just disapoints me when Adam and John get into some kind of mode where they never change their opinion on something no matter what happens, such as harping on Elon Musk faking the launch with a studio green screen, disapointing to hear that on No Agenda. What Elon Musk is doing with his paypal money is quite simply amazing. Most other silicon valley millionaires/billionaires do nothing with their cash, they just retire. Elon Musk is a true hero.
@yukiame very sorry I missed FOSDEM. Was it awesome? I just don't have millions of gbp profit in Bitcoin like you, I can't afford to attend every conference, even with cheap eurostar and airbnb..
Only Saturn5, last launched in 1973, is the only rocket larger than SpaceX Falcon Heavy. The Tesla Roadster was just a little test, in fact, the Falcon Heavy can lift up to 47 Tesla Roadsters (1350kg each, fully vonfigured with the full battery etc) to low earth orbit. The Tesla Roadster was in the fucking fairing ehich is what pops off once the Tesla Roadster got deployed into space. @adam very disapointing how you have no care for the amazing feat of Elon Musk and hyping flat earth bullshit.
@yukiame Falcon Heavy costs $90 million and provides something real and tangible to society. Bitcoin is a multi Billion dollar ponzi scheme that has no tangible value.
@yukiame CES was awesome. I have 50 videos I need to post from CES in the days to come. I don't agree with JCD, at least for me every year CES is a great place to video-blog 50+ innovative companies showing their new stuff. But for sure there are lots of horribly boring and lame giant tech companies who keep doing nothing new.
@yukiame I hope so! I didn't book my flights/airbnb yet. I need to look into that this week. Thanks a lot for the tip! You'll let me know some ideas for who would be good to Interview?
The huge Meltdown security bug slows down all Intel computers and servers up to 55% when patched, it does not affect ARM nor AMD. It's only the Spectre bug that affects them all but is much less of an issue.
