I need a VPN with a residential NY IP address. It shouldn't show as belonging to a data center. Any recommendations?

@kev mainly organization + decreased RAM usage. Wavebox and a few alternatives "sleep" tabs you're not actively using, so they aren't wasting resources, but you still have easy access to them.

They also make it easy to stay logged into multiple accounts and switch between them, without having an additional tab per account.

Giving Wavebox a try as my all-in-one messenger. Not sure how I feel about spending $4/mo for a browser though.

@cooper I'm stuck with PayPal because I already have so many clients established with it. Transferwise is currently my favorite way to send payments though.

I've been trying to withdraw from PayPal for over a week and it keeps getting blocked. Support says to try again on Monday. If I needed that money immediately I'd be completely screwed.

@Gina hahaha yes. I looked at Wekan before but was too lazy to set it up at the time, and now our Kanboard is full of stuff and I don't think I can easily transfer over.

@Gina I use Kanboard with some CSS changes to make it less ugly.

@kungtotte is there a specific storage provider you have in mind?

@ataraxia937 Bank deposit box might make me more comfortable. I live in a high-rise, so if the building collapses, I wouldn't be finding my safe any time soon. I'm not sure if that's a thing here though. I'll have to look into it.

Getting a lot of responses that require access to 1 of my devices. I do sync between my devices, but if I need to suddenly evacuate, I might not be able to grab my devices before I leave. I'd then lose access to everything, including bank accounts.

@ataraxia937 In a situation which requires evacuating, like a major earthquake, I might not be able to get access to the safe or grab my devices before leaving.

We just had a major earthquake in April. Luckily my phone was already in my pocket. Left without my shoes though haha.

@brandon I use Resilio which is basically the same, but I think about a situation where I might lose all connected devices, like during a flood. I'd need a way to get access without my original devices.

@kungtotte My email password is in KeePass as well haha. I guess I can look for a random non-Google cloud account though.

Struggling to think of a good way to keep backups of my KeePass database. All my passwords, including the password for off-site backups, are randomly generated and stored in KeePass, so currently without my KeePass database, I can't restore a backup of my KeePass database.

I could create a Google account with an easy-to-remember password and store it on Drive, but I also don't want it stored on Google drive, so meh.

@lexservxyz warranty might be worth the hassle then.
