One of the very first things humans learn when they are born is to alert someone when they aren't okay. Then a bunch of people tell you not to and give you whole layers of shame about what you can need, when you can need it, and how you are allowed to ask, and who is allowed to ask, etc., etc.

Fuck all that. We literally exist to help each other or else we wouldn't keep hanging out with each other and figuring out new ways to connect.

Ask for help when you need it because it's fucking normal.

The end of the month is always the hardest. I'm still only 63% from my goal of being able to literally keep the lights on here. I never recovered from when I had to move off of M.S last year. (still -$300 from where I was on Patreon, thanks harassment)

It's been so long now, and everything is only getting worse. Every little bit helps but also if you know someone who can do more than a little, I desperately need it. There's no other way for me to get medical care.

- everyone needs to look up what "survivor bias" is

- not everyone has the time/resources/energy/whatever to be engaged in and participating in their community 100% of the time, and it is the job of whoever is in charge to make sure those people are considered

- always consider when dismissing a responsibility and thinking "someone else will do it" - who is that someone else?
