    தமிழில் ஆவணப்படுத்துவது மிக நல்ல முயற்சியே. பிரஞ்சு, ஜெர்மன் போன்ற பிற மொழிகளில் பல கட்டற்ற பொருட்கள் ஆவணப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.

    நீங்கள் கூறியவாறு, Scratch போன்று நிரலாக்கத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தும் மொழிகளைத் தமிழாக்கம் செய்வதில் மிக்கப் பயனுள்ளது.

    நான் பெரும்பாலும் பயன்படுத்துவது கட்டளை வரி நிரல்களே. அவைத் தமிழில் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று நான் நினைக்கிறேன். ஆனால் அதற்குத் தேவையான ஒரு சீர் இடைவெளி (monospace) தமிழ் எழுத்துருக்கள் தான் இல்லை. இதைப் பற்றி ரையாட்டில் நான் கேட்டது உங்களுக்கு நினைவிருக்கலாம்.

    இணையத்திலும் கணினியிலும் தமிழ் நுழைவது பற்றி நமக்கிடையே முழு கருத்தொற்றுமை இருக்கிறது. ஆனால் நிரலாக்கத்தில் தமிழுக்கு இடமுள்ளதா என்று எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை. கணிதத்திற்கு ஆங்கில குறியெழுத்துக்கள் தானே பயன்படுத்துகிறோம்? அது போல தானே கணினி நிரலாக்கமும்? அப்படி நிரலாக்கத்தில் தமிழ் வேண்டுமாயின் அதற்காக புதிய மொழியை உருவாக்குவதை விட ஏற்கனவே இருக்கும் மொழியின் தொகுப்பிக்கு ஏதாவது உட்செருகி (compiler plugin) எழுதுவதே சிறந்தது என்று நான் நினைக்கிறேன்.

    Just getting started with Inkscape. I have so far avoided learning Inkscape for my minor SVG manipulation by simply editing the SVG XML directly with a text editor. From that perspective, Inkscape feels like a GUI for writing and manipulating SVG XML.
