"Cybernetic government is inherently apocalyptic. Its purpose is to locally impede the spontaneously entropic, chaotic movement of the world and to ensure 'enclaves of order,' of stability, and - who knows? - the perpetual self-regulation of systems, through the unrestrained, transparent, and controllable circulation of information."
@dredmorbius Not really, but this focuses more on the less sensational aspects of surveillance where the threat is closer to home or may be someone you know.
Looks like success. BMX6 running on ipv6 with avahi but without autoipd. No ipv4. I'll just need to update !Freedombone with all the various changes made on the test mesh.
@eloquence Municipal broadband is probably possible anyway without the involvement of a local council, so long as you can get permission from enough property owners to put antennas on roofs.
@dtluna And similar can be said for UBI. If wages increase but the social relations between the boss and worker remain unchanged then the worker will continue to get a similarly meager share of resources allocated. Unless you can break the class relation then monkeying around with the money system is merely dealing with symptoms rather than the cause.
@h I think I listened to the No Agenda podcast a few years back after it was mentioned by fabsh on Linux Outlaws. It wasn't really my kind of thing though.
