I only plan to really incorporate the solid look of what I perceive to be 'Brutalist' and keep the code simple.

I know JS, but I am trying not to use any of it until absolutely necessary.

But really, I like the design concept of 'don't just add stuff for stuff's sake' and only add things to solve a design issue.

As far as Zen goes, it is really the principle behind Zen rather than actually following their guidelines to a letter.

That is a good idea! I almost went retro, but I am really trying out the Brutalist and Zen techniques for now. I would like to incorporate some retro elements eventually though.

@pla Oh yes, I may have prematurely posted all of this. Unfortunately, i am going to have to rework a whole new RSS. I hope to get it done tonight, but no promises.

So, I have been working the past two days on my new site.

Design:

I took inspiration from an article found here:

and from

and tried to incorporate a few of the values from each design ideal. The "alpha result" can be found in my new site.

I am changing a lot in the coming weeks, including my alias/handle. I haven't decided how deep I will let it take me, but for now, visit my site and tell me what you think:

Is there a "Federated Podcasting" thing out there? How cool would that be? I wonder if lbry.io would be a better solution for that... probably not.
