it is well documented that a suicide in a close-knit community can "ripple," especially in the painful, difficult times immediately afterwards. please, please take care of each other.
@Draekos I don't know where you live but where I live hospitals dont have a right to deny service and the fire department / EMS will drive you to a hospital. Yes it's a bit of an ordeal and quite a commitment (once you check in, you aren't allowed to leave till the process is over) if it gets dark it's best to have an emergency plan.
@Draekos if you go to a hospital and tell them you are suicidal they will give you a room and monitor you until they can get someone in to evaluate you, they will try their best to get you in touch with resources and care.
You said something about pet theories? that sounds like your opinion. maybe if you had listened to the people you are mocking youd understand that leftist theories tend to fit together more often then not.
I get the feeling that you are american yes? Here in the US we teach liberal philosophy and conservative philosophy but we neglect leftist philosophy. (in government schools). That is why the working class knows what the invisible hand and privatisation mean, but do not know what material conditions or lumpenproletariat means.
@popon@ghost I could say the same for right wing terms such as laissez faire, tragedy for the commons, "NAP", etc.
Part of the problem is that most in the working class do not have access to the kind of time that one would otherwise be devoting to theory. such is the nature of hypercompetitive and wasteful production, no one has time for their own fulfilment.
We live in a right wing society, thus right wing concepts are more accessible as they are the current conditions we live in.
@colon_three the t440 will give you far more then that off of a 6 cell. you can upgrade it to run on 9cells with the external 6 cell and the internal 3 cell and itll stay on for ever. also hotswapping batteries is a thing.
