@colon_three the t440 is very cheap and im very satisfied with it, you can get a trackpad with physical buttons to put in it, and a 1080p IPS screen for it. also holy fuck battery life.

@0x3F turned out the problem was specific to my system. I'm running steam in flatpak, I had no driver's set up, I'm not using systemD so I couldn't use the sysd xboxdrv unit.

I got it working it's a great controller, it'll take a tad bit of time to get steam to play nice and not all steam games recognize. It's great on native games tho

holy shit if you value your time and are running linux dont get an 8bitdo controller the support is total shit

@delores shitty printers are better then nothing, and I think you are missing my point.

My point is that I would like to see resources reallocated to provide 3d printers of any class to people for free or at low cost. I want to see an elevation of technology to the point where we have cheap machines that reliably print in several different useful materials.

Im trying to mitigate damage done by the private property norm.
