    Yeah, agree on thinking it's the first time they've shown in-game stuff. Just thought it was more widely reported when it was announced, than it apparently was. My mistake I suppose.

    Only reason I heard about it was because of the infamously bad reception they got when it was shown on screen, and everyone at the International booed.

    By the way though, I'm a tad confused why people seem to think this is a totally new announcement from Valve. 

    Wasn't Artifact announced at the Dota 2 international last year?

    Valve or not. The -concept- behind the card game, doesn't really interest me.

    There's been plenty of card games over the years, mainly trading card style ones, with new gimmicks n such. But generally they stick to a familiar core format, despite their add-ons. 

    Gwent kinda shook this up a little, and I wasn't a big fan of that. 

    Artifact seems to be oddly mixing it with moba tactics? Which...doesn't sound all that appealing.

    That title is still ridiculous, because you disprove it -immediately-
