One of them had text, of Blasto saying a quote.
The quote made me laugh for how ridiculous it was.
So that's the small reason it wasn't all regrets. The rest of the actual image and such was horrific.

By the way, while I'm one of the few people who will defend reddit (mainly in a, every subreddit is different and some are alright, kinda way)
The Mass Effect subreddit is pretty awful.
They mostly despise and treat Andromeda unfairly, they put the original series on a pedestal and their only complaints are the really really obvious ones no one can defend.
And sometimes they get weird and lecherous over some of the female characters cos...I guess they had to be even worse somehow.
I've seen a decent amount of fan subreddits that can still critique things properly while enjoying them, cos well, they're fans.
...The Mass Effect subreddit is not one of them.

Mass Effect 3 is just a tad...wonky, has some great moments tho that the series had been building to.
Andromeda's biggest flaw is being kinda average in some areas. Combat is great tho, and while the story is hardly anything new, it's better than people give it credit for. Oh and it has the second best final mission in the series, so.

Very much so yes. Mash-ups are fanservice taken to extreme a lot of the time, and is just as vapid as a lot of fanservice naturally is.

Mhm. People seem to have a weird thing in their head of that 'mash-ups' of stuff are always great.
They're not. Things can share similar-ish genre while still being very different and having deeply different tones and themes.
Mash-ups often, rather than adding to the things, just take away from them both.

Is understandable really. It being a action-based shooter would be fine as you note. The original just wasn't build to be that way, so the changes are just kinda..jammed on.

Bothers me. It only takes a "I don't want you doing that" to have people stop (or at the least, stop using it as their cover)

Ah right, so it made it more filled with tension, and you had to be a bit tactical about it's usage/using a gun.
Whereas in the new one...it's -just- a shooter as such, cos a lot of that tension is gone when you don't have to manage things.
It updated for ease and accesibility and all, but forgot why those things were how they were.

Totalbiscuit had a lot of moments like that. When his fans actively would dogpile people and he'd go "well it wasn't ME directly"
Like yeah okay, but if the thing you're focused most on is going "it wasn't ME!" rather than just immediately saying "I do not condone those people" that's an issue.
That's why, I suppose, he'd start getting defensive later with his soundcloud stuff. But...in that case he'd just outright label and ridicule -all- of his fanbase.
...There's a fine line he never really found, huh.

In general I find that a lot of popular people with platforms, should...pay attention to the sway and influence they have.
The whole "well it's not MY fault my fans did this thing in my name..."
I'm always kinda torn on it, cos sure yeah, they did it themselves. But if they think it's what you want, and you're quietly accepting that without correction...being idle isn't particulary good.
