    Been the whole day at a software architecture class, that was a lot of information to take in, same goes for tomorrow. It was really useful, and I liked it. Makes you think differently when designing software and how to do that.

    Kids are sleeping, now I get to spend some time on my computer :) Currently working on some stuff with Ogre engine, compiling stuff mostly, checking if I can get a nice boilerplate project going.

    @platano Yeah, I think it's solid. I've used XFCE for years, tried gnome for a good while, but now I like KDE best, it feels solid,mature and modern, and even for debian stable it has a nice setup out of the box, can use it as-is without getting that 'windows xp \ 7' feeling.

    Back up and running :) One good thing came out of the failed ubuntu install, that is that when I reinstalled debian I installed KDE instead of Gnome, feels good to be back on that.

    @aemon Home, so no big deal, just frustrating because I had to do like 3 installs before I knew exactly what the problem was. so now I'm grabbing latest debian testing, getting that installed.

    So, ubuntu 17.10 refuses to boot after nvidia driver is installed, reminds me why I had Debian on there - it just works, so that's what I'll do now, reinstall debian. what a waste of time that was to test ubuntu.
