We've all been there, myself included. But please: try and don't be that kind of person. It's really, really embarrassing.

I agree. I actually found it quite interesting to compare the two on a vacation in California, back when Apple Maps just launched... in 2012/2013 or whenever it was.

If I'd ever write my own shell, I'd do it in Go and call it 'gosh', with the accompanying side-project 'oh-my-gosh'.

Things that come to mind:

- supports up to 64GB of RAM (instead of just 32GB)
- less power consumption

I often don't know what my expectations are until they're not met.

I'd actually really prefer to run just one (HDMI) cable to all my living room devices.

The dream: your receiver pipes super fast Internet over HDMI to all devices.

The reality: every device has the cheapest, flakiest Chinese WiFi chip with the worst possible UI imaginable for entering user/pass. The UI doesn't support digits or extended characters.
