I haven't had one since I sobered up. Used to have a Paul, but I found them too neck heavy. I switched to an American made Hamer Studio.

In Memphis awhile back. Gibson made specialty guitars there until they went tits up.

Could not believe the money they wanted for them. Hell, they wanted 10 bucks just to take the factory tour.

I put a John McLaughlin show out there earlier today that you should enjoy. Long concert, but worth the time. Jimmy Herring too.

Haven't read the book. Can tell you that the pay was bad for the guards in FL. They are how the contraband moves around the facilities, ya know, for the extra ducats.

Remember reading that if the gummit didn't keep the prisoner count high enough, the contracts called for fines to be paid to the private corporations

Yo @TomNovak him holding that shot glass brought back very foggy memories. I kept the glassware from the place where I got my first drink served to me. Damn things are fucking antiques now.

The shot glass is great. If you held it right it was as good as a set of knuckle dusters.

A shot of well whiskey (Four Roses, Kesslers, etc) and the 8 oz beer chaser would set me back 35 cents. Bail was usually considerably more 🤠
