Yo @HiroProtagonist Au (as with most precious metals) will always work. Rare, can carry it with you, can lop off a hunk to trade immediately. No ledgers or middlemen. Has held value for millennia.

I think #1 is an impossibility. Exchanging value is based on trust.

#2 & #3 hold the most importance to me. No one needs to have a ledger on what I do with what I have.

Having a middleman between you & your assets is banking. Banking sucks.

@yukiame The blockchain by its nature a ledger, which means all transactions are tracked. All those Mixer and Tumbler services do is add a layer of obfuscation. They cannot guarantee any sort of anonymity.

Which goes to @YoVinnie’s point: it requires an intermediary to make use of.
